Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets
(Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative.There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.085, is traded around previous levels. Caution prevails as gold continues the session slightly lower (-0.33%). Light Sweet Crude Oil slides -0.43% to 67.78 dollars per barrel.
The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +109 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.81%.
Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt declines by a notable -0.85%, London slips just under the flatline with a -0.52% decrease, and Paris is struggling, -0.77% down.
In Milan, the FTSE MIB is below the flatline as it slips -0.59% to 38,957 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.58% to trade at 41,225 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is below the flatline, slipping -0.51%; on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star spirals down (-0.82%).
ERG (+1.02%), Terna (+0.98%), Inwit (+0.69%) and Enel (+0.54%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Nexi reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.78% down.
Stmicroelectronics suffers losses of 3.60%.
Investors hurry to sell as Leonardo declines -3.39%.
Stellantis plunges -1.85% on intense selling.
Acea (+2.01%), Juventus (+1.44%), Moltiply Group (+1.14%) and Maire (+1.10%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.
