Timid gains in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is trading slightly higher, while the rest of Europe flatlines.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.079. Gold makes timid gains, progressing by +0.26%. Oil prices are essentially stable, with Light Sweet Crude Oil trading sideways at 69.21 dollars per barrel.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +106 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.82%.

Among the European markets, lacklustre Frankfurt registers almost no change against the previous trading session, London lacks momentum, trading with a +0.1% change, and Paris slips just under the flatline with a -0.3% decrease.

The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a +0.2% change, while, instead, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up to 41,747 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.32%); the FTSE Italia Star is practically unchanged (+0.15%).

Leonardo (+1.70%), Banca Mediolanum (+1.44%), Prysmian (+1.44%) and A2A (+0.86%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Nexi has the worst performance, with a -1.17% down.

Pirelli & C contracts moderately by -1.08%.

Recordati is subdued, shedding -0.74%.

Stmicroelectronics falls just below its previous value.

Danieli & C (+7.34%), Philogen (+2.85%), Fincantieri (+1.58%) and Maire (+1.40%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Sanlorenzo sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.57% lower.

Rcs Mediagroup is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.42%).

Newlat Food is modestly down, shedding -1.17%.

CIR drifts -1.03% lower.
