Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative The US bourse trades on a sluggish note, with the S&P-500 posting a -0.58% decline.

EUR / USD is slightly down at 1.087. Gold is in positive terrain, earning +1.19%. A gloomy day for Light Sweet Crude Oil, which is trading at 67.13 dollars per barrel, down -0.81%.

The Spread crawls up 2 basis points to +110 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10-year yield at +3.94%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt contracts moderately by -0.52%, London goes nowhere, reporting a -0.08% change, and Paris is subdued, shedding -0.38%.

The Milanese stock exchange is trading just below the flatline (-0.67%); similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading just below the previous session's levels, at 40,285 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.27%); the FTSE Italia Star slips a fraction (-0.65%).

Nexi (+2.54%), Brunello Cucinelli (+2.47%), MPS Bank (+2.21%) and ERG (+1.86%) among the top performers in Milan.

Campari sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.34% lower.

Finecobank is struggling, -2.37% down.

Stmicroelectronics suffers losses of 2.24%.

Investors hurry to sell as Moncler declines -2.17%.

Alerion Clean Power (+18.76%), Webuild (+6.75%), Reply (+4.83%) and Ferragamo (+3.55%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Carel Industries has the worst performance, with a -8.60% down.

Ariston Holding plunges -3.16% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Moltiply Group records a -3.11% fall.

Tinexta shows a negative session -2.55% down.
