European markets shine bright

News Image (Teleborsa) - The major bourses of the Old Continent are all up. Gains on the US stock market as the S&P-500 records a +1.5% rise.

EUR / USD trades slightly up at 1.088. Gold holds its position at 2,986.4 dollars per ounce. Oil prices are essentially stable, with Light Sweet Crude Oil trading sideways at 66.94 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +109 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.95%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt sparkles, managing to pull off a +1.7% increase, London is in good fettle with a +0.92% increase, and Paris is in good shape, advancing +1.13%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB rises +1.44%, to 38,546 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share surges above the previous day's levels to trade at 40,813 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap climbs +1.31%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star trades moderately higher (+0.63%).

Iveco (+6.12%), Telecom Italia (+5.93%), Leonardo (+5.58%) and Unicredit (+3.23%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Snam has the worst performance, with a -1.76% down.

ERG plunges -1.6% on intense selling.

Terna is modestly down, shedding -1.11%.

Brunello Cucinelli drifts -1.08% lower.

Sesa (+11.81%), Ariston Holding (+8.27%), Buzzi (+6.00%) and Webuild (+4.82%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

The Italian Sea Group reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -15.74% down.

El.En drops like a stone, recording a -13.56 percent decline.

A dramatic session for Zignago Vetro, which suffers a -7.88% collapse.

Investors are selling as De'Longhi records a -3.5% fall.
