EUR / USD is slightly down at 1.101. Gold collapses, trading at 3,063.5 dollars per ounce after losing -1.6%. Light Sweet Crude Oil slumps -8.02% to land at 61.58 dollars per barrel.
The Spread sees substantial appreciation, rising by 8 basis points to settle at +117 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield is at +3.68%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt dives -3.97%, London collapses (-4.02%), and Paris reels under sharp sell-offs as it declines -3.78%.
In Milan, Piazza Affari declines sharply, with the FTSE MIB witnessing a -5.95% drop, continuing its run after three consecutive falls, which began last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is firmly in the red as it retreats -5.85% to trade at 36,949 points.
