European bourses hold the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - On the Old Continent, the major stock markets remain wary. Investors also show caution in Milan, where the market is flatlining. In New York the mood is upbeat as Wall Street opens on an upward wave.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.08. Caution prevails as gold continues the session slightly lower (-0.37%). Light Sweet Crude Oil rises +1.07% to 69.01 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +107 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.83%.

Among the major European bourses, stagnant Frankfurt trades to a near stalemate, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and it's a stalemate for Paris, which is trading around the flatline.

The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a +0.08% change; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 41,331 points, around the previous day's levels.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds previous levels (+0.05%); the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.24%).

Banca Mediolanum (+2.87%), Stmicroelectronics (+2.11%), Stellantis (+1.96%) and Finecobank (+1.82%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Leonardo has the worst performance, with a -2.64% down.

ERG declines by a notable -1.51%.

Campari drifts -1.2% lower.

Enel totters along with a modest -1.18% decline.

Moltiply Group (+4.17%), Philogen (+2.41%), Banca Generali (+2.32%) and Cementir (+1.88%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Carel Industries has the worst performance, with a -3.02% down.

Ferragamo is struggling, -2.72% down.

Industrie De Nora suffers losses of 2.27%.

Investors hurry to sell as El.En declines -2.25%.
