Europe reined in

News Image (Teleborsa) - Just like the other major markets in Europe, the Milan stock exchange is going nowhere. On the American market the S&P-500 registers large advances.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.48% so far. Gold is on the plus side, showing a +0.86% increase. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises sharply, gaining +2.33%.

The Spread steps up to add 2 basis points, reaching +115 BPs, with the BTP 10-year yield at +3.51%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt looks composed with modest growth of +0.29%, London forges ahead by +0.89%, and Paris is stuck at the previous session's levels.

The Milanese stock exchange sees no significant change with the FTSE MIB settling at 34,189 points, near the previous session's levels; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 36,399 points, around the previous day's levels.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.21%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.53%).

Saipem (+5.22%), ENI (+2.25%), Prysmian (+1.85%) and Inwit (+1.68%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Bper sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.52% lower.

Investors are selling as MPS Bank records a -2.44% fall.

Unipol shows a negative session -1.75% down.

Troubled Unicredit falls -1.61%.

D'Amico (+6.08%), The Italian Sea Group (+3.91%), Alerion Clean Power (+3.25%) and ERG (+2.80%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Credem sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.39% lower.

BFF Bank is down, with a net loss of 1.96%.

El.En falls just below its previous value.

Piaggio is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.28%).
