The Boeing Company is the worldwide leader in aeronautical construction. Net sales break down by market as follows:
- commercial aviation (42.1%). In addition to commercial aircraft, the group supplies spare parts and offers technical support, maintenance and engineering services;
- defense (34%): military aircraft and mobility systems (warplanes, helicopters, and air defense missiles), support services (logistics, engineering, maintenance and training services) and space equipment (satellites, launch pads, etc.).
The remaining sales (23.9%) specifically involve financing commercial and private aircraft as well as leasing aeronautical equipment.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (50.3%), China (6.7%), Asia (12.6%), Europe (12.2%), Middle East (10.9%), Canada (2.4%), Oceania (2.4%), Africa (1.3%) and other (1.2%).
