Borsa Italiana welcomed the first ETF on commodities
Lyxor ETF Commodities CRB (Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index) will be listed starting from 1st June

Lyxor Asset Management, Société Générale’s wholly owned subsidiary, launched on Borsa Italiana the first Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) based on a commodities index: the Reuters/Jefferies CRB TR.
The benchmark index is composed by 19 future contracts on the following commodities: Silver, Nickel, Coffe, Cocoa, Gold, Live Cattle, Heating Oil, Lean Hogs, Crude Oil, Unleaded Gas, Soybean, Corn, Wheat, Natural Gas, Copper, Aluminium, Cotton, Sugar e Orange Juice. The biggest weighting (23%) has been assigned to the Crude Oil in order to reflect the critical role of petroleum in the global economy. The others are among the most liquid, widely followed and economically significant commodities futures contracts traded globally. All commodities contracts roll over the first four business days of each month.
