First green bond lists on Borsa Italiana

-       Borsa Italiana launches new green bond segment

-       ENEL FINANCE INTERNATIONAL N.V. €1.25 billion green bond issue is the first to list on the new Italian segment

-       Builds on LSEG’s commitment to developing a comprehensive green product offering

Borsa Italiana launches a new segment on ExtraMOT PRO dedicated to the issuance of green and social bonds. The new segment provides issuers with a full suite of solutions to support green and social bond issuance, simultaneosuly allowing both retail and wholesale investors the opportunity to invest in these tailored instruments.

Enel Finance International N.V is the first issuer to use the new dedicated green bond segment on Borsa Italiana, launching a €1.25 billion green bond. The bond is Guaranteed by Enel and pays an annual coupon of 1 per cent. It matures in 16 September 2024 and is reserved for institutional investors.
