Through Banca Alletti & C. S.p.A., Nomad of the operation, and CFO Sim, joint bookrunner, Glenalta Food raised €80 million at IPO, which correspond to the market capitalization of the company. The free float is 100%.
Massimiliano Lagreca, Head of Business Development & Investment Vehicles of Borsa Italiana, commented:
“Glenalta is the first listed SPAC focused on the Food sector in Italia. Borsa Italiana, which has welcomed 8 SPACs on its markets since 2011, has become a key market for this kind of financial operations, which perfectly fit the Italian industrial sector, characterized by many fast-growing SMEs.”
