Borsa Italiana welcomes Fineco on MTA

-        Fineco raises €673 million

Borsa Italiana today welcomes FinecoBank S.p.A. on MTA, the main market of Borsa Italiana. Fineco is the direct multichannel banking unit of UniCredit Group.

Fineco successfully raised €673 million at IPO, valuing the business at €2,243 million.
Mediobanca was the sponsor and UniCredit was responsible for the placement.
UBS, UniCredit and Mediobanca were global coordinators of the offering.

The company raised three times more than the original offer and approximately 80 per cent of the institutional offer has been subscribed by international investors. This underlines Borsa Italiana’s capability to attract capital from all over the world.
2014 is looking to be a significant year for our markets. To date we have had 13 companies list and the IPO pipeline continues to look strong for the rest of the year.”
