IDEM: new record ever for trades
Reached the second highest record ever for turnover

Today on IDEM, the Derivatives Market of Borsa Italiana, 451,655 standard contracts have been traded, new all time record for number of trades in a single day.
The previous record was achieved on April 16th, 2007 with 437,655 trades.
IDEM, during the first quarter of 2007, achieved a 26% raise in the daily average of trades as compared with same period in 2006.
Borsa Italiana’s equity markets have achieved today a trading turnover of Euro 9,8 billion, second highest record for turnover.
