Today new record of shares trading: Euro 13.7 billion

Borsa Italiana’s markets achieved today, in the daily session, shares trading for Euro 13.783 billion, new record ever for turnover traded in a single day.

The previous record was achieved on March 1^st, 2007, with Euro 9,983 billion.

S&P/MIB index achieved the highest level since its introduction in June 2003 at 44,022 points.
