May 23 2006 - 17:30

Tomorrow, 24 May, New York is hosting the third stage of the Borsa Italiana international roadshow: the New York STAR Conference 2006.

Following the Italian Investor Conference held in New York on 3-4 April of this year, and the Italian Large & Mid Caps Conference in Paris on 16 May, both dedicated to Blue Chip companies listed on the Borsa Italiana markets, the New York STAR Conference 2006, dedicated to companies in the STAR segment, is the third of a series of events which, again this year, aim to promote Italian companies listed on the Exchange at Piazza Affari among the international financial community.

The New York STAR Conference 2006 will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Park Avenue.
The following banks are sponsoring the event: Auerbach Grayson, Banca Aletti, Banca IMI, Credit Suisse, Euromobiliare Sim, Jefferies, JPMorgan, Intermonte, Société Generale, and UBM.

200 one-to-one meetings will be held tomorrow between the management of the 21 STAR companies and the 60 international investors. Group meetings are also planned during the day.

The Borsa Italiana international roadshow will continue on 23 June in London, with the Italian Mid Caps Conference and, subsequently, on the 27 and 28 September, London will host the STAR Conference 2006 London, which is now in its sixth edition.
