STAR Conference 2006: London, 27-28 September

The London STAR Conference 2006, the fifth leg in Borsa Italiana’s international road show, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday and Thursday 27/28 September in London.  

Now at its sixth edition, the London STAR Conference 2006 is a traditional date for the international financial community.  

Participating in this year’s Conference are 50 companies presenting the results achieved during the first half of 2006 to 180 institutional investors and financial analysts.  

The over 550 meetings planned will be in one-to-one, one-to-many and group formats, corresponding to 10 meetings per company.

After the Italian Investor Conference held in New York on 3 and 4 April and the Italian Large & Mid Caps Conference held in Paris last 16 May, both dedicated to Blue Chips, the Borsa Italiana road show continued on 24 May with the New York STAR Conference 2006, dedicated to companies in the STAR segment, and the Italian Mid Caps Conference, held in London last 23 June. The last event of the year is scheduled to take place in Japan, on 3 October, with the Italian Investor Conference Tokyo.

All of the events are sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the local Embassies. 

In occasion of the London Star Conference 2006, a seminar for presentation of the new Code of Conduct to the financial community of the City will also take place on Thursday, 28 September. The seminar is promoted and organised by Borsa Italiana, Assonime and Studio Legale Chiomenti, with the collaboration of Ansaldo Sts e Socotherm.
