Massimo Capuano, President and CEO of Borsa Italiana, was today re-appointed as President of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges –FESE

MASSIMO CAPUANO, PRESIDENT AND CEO OF BORSA ITALIANA,
RE-APPOINTED FOR THE YEAR 2006 PRESIDENT OF THE
FEDERATION OF EUROPEAN SECURITIES EXCHANGES

Massimo Capuano, President and CEO of Borsa Italiana, was today re-appointed as President of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges –FESE- by the General Assembly of the members of the Federation held in Brussels.

FESE, with its 25 members, is the association of the regulated securities markets in Europe.

Massimo Capuano has been the President and CEO of Borsa Italiana since January 1998, the year in which the company was privatised. In the Borsa Italiana Group, he is Vice-President of Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia and Vice-President of Monte Titoli as well as Chairman of BIt Systems, an ICT services company.

He is Vice-President of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) for the years 2005-2006.
