Uncertainty keeps European markets cautious

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe's bourses are trading on a cautious note today, including Piazza Affari.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.082. Gold is slightly up at 2,374.5 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by -0.45% to trade at 81.04 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is at +138 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.9%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is stuck at the previous session's levels, London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.21%, and Paris is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.21%).

The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a +0.03% change; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading flat at 36,109 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.25%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star inches up +0.23%.

Prysmian (+2.50%), Saipem (+1.79%), Telecom Italia (+1.19%) and Terna (+0.79%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Banco Bpm sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.32% lower.

Iveco is modestly down, shedding -1.09%.

Banca Popolare Sondrio drifts -1% lower.

Campari totters along with a modest -0.78% decline.

Acea (+2.60%), Ariston Holding (+2.12%), Philogen (+1.97%) and De'Longhi (+1.33%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Piaggio reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.46% down.

A sluggish day for Fincantieri, which drops -1.35%.

Intercos trades with a small loss of -0.9%.

Tottering Maire dips -0.89%.
