Timid gains in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is trading slightly higher, while the rest of Europe flatlines.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.08. Gold makes timid gains, progressing by +0.36%. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 68.2 dollars per barrel.

The Spread rises to settle at +122 basis points, an increase of 4 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.54%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, stagnant Frankfurt trades to a near stalemate, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and it's a stalemate for Paris, which is trading around the flatline.

The Milanese bourse edges up as the FTSE MIB rises +0.25% to 35,104 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share nudges up to 37,244 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is practically unchanged (+0.19%); the FTSE Italia Star gains marginally (+0.28%).

Iveco (+2.51%), Tenaris (+2.49%), Intesa Sanpaolo (+1.17%) and Stmicroelectronics (+0.95%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

ERG reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.38% down.

MPS Bank is definitely weaker with a -0.78% decrease.

Stellantis slips just under the flatline with a -0.74% decrease.

Prysmian contracts moderately by -0.64%.

Digital Value (+4.96%), Carel Industries (+4.90%), Moltiply Group (+3.15%) and GVS (+2.44%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Philogen sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.45% lower.

BFF Bank is subdued, shedding -1.31%.

El.En falls just below its previous value.

Sanlorenzo is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.1%).
