Timid gains in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is trading slightly higher, while the rest of Europe flatlines.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only -0.03%. Gold creeps up +0.25%. Light Sweet Crude Oil continues to trade sideways, registering a -0.12% change.

The Spread improves, shedding -4 basis points to settle at +130 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.48%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is basically unchanged, reporting a scant +0.04% variation, London trades firm at +0.07%, and a positive result for Paris, which inches up +0.46%.

The Milanese bourse edges up as the FTSE MIB rises +0.44% to 33,316 points, interrupting the run of four consecutive declines, which began last Monday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up +0.49% to close at 35,458 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.67%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.49%).

Recordati (+3.84%), Saipem (+2.40%), Telecom Italia (+1.75%) and ENI (+1.25%) among the top performers in Milan.

D'Amico (+3.43%), Ariston Holding (+2.21%), Moltiply Group (+1.99%) and MFE B (+1.57%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

The Italian Sea Group reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.18% down.

A sluggish day for El.En, which drops -0.75%.
