Timid gains in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is trading slightly higher, while the rest of Europe flatlines.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.07. Gold holds its position at 2,326.5 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil trades with a fractional gain of 0.70%.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +157 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +4.02%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.33%), London looks composed with modest growth of +0.43%, and Paris drifts -0.33% lower.

The Milanese stock exchange enjoys timid gains as the FTSE MIB exhibits +0.31% up, interrupting the run of three consecutive declines, which began last Tuesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up +0.3% to close at 35,484 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap gains marginally (+0.26%); the FTSE Italia Star is practically unchanged (+0.19%).

Tenaris (+2.39%), MPS Bank (+2.05%), Telecom Italia (+1.38%) and Saipem (+1.06%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Terna reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.44% down.

Banca Popolare Sondrio totters along with a modest -0.97% decline.

A sluggish day for ERG, which drops -0.59%.

A2A trades with a small loss of -0.53%.

Mondadori (+1.89%), Maire (+1.88%), Brembo (+1.81%) and SOL (+1.06%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Philogen sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.72% lower.

MFE A declines by a notable -1.55%.

Tottering Cementir dips -0.75%.
