Sell-offs in Piazza Affari. Rest of Europe unmoved

News Image (Teleborsa) - Bulls and bears are in stalemate as the major bourses on the Old Continent trade on the flatline. Trending against them, the Borsa Italiana slides into the red. In the meantime, buying prevails for the S&P-500 on Wall Street.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.091. Gold creeps up +0.36%. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.81%.

The Spread remains unchanged at +124 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.66%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is stuck at the previous session's levels, London contracts moderately by -0.35%, and it's a stalemate for Paris, which is trading around the flatline.

The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.5% lower; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is slightly down, trading just below the flatline at 36,455 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.26%; the FTSE Italia Star is practically unchanged (+0.04%).

Leonardo (+2.76%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+1.71%), Campari (+1.39%) and Tenaris (+1.24%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Ferrari has the worst performance, with a -5.73% down.

Moncler declines by a notable -1.55%.

ERG is subdued, shedding -1.26%.

Finecobank falls just below its previous value.

Ferretti (+4.70%), Buzzi (+4.10%), Lottomatica (+3.73%) and Digital Value (+2.23%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Tinexta sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.93% lower.

Zignago Vetro is struggling, -3.26% down.

Banco di Desio e della Brianza suffers losses of 1.72%.

Investors hurry to sell as Pharmanutra declines -1.68%.
