Sell-offs in Piazza Affari. Rest of Europe unmoved
(Teleborsa) - Bulls and bears are in stalemate as the major bourses on the Old Continent trade on the flatline. Trending against them, the Borsa Italiana slides into the red.
EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only 0%. Gold climbs to 2,655.6 dollars per ounce, rising +0.86%. Light Sweet Crude Oil looks bullish as it advances to 68.09 dollars per barrel.
The Spread retreats to +113 basis points, a decline of 3 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.19%.
Among the major European bourses, lacklustre Frankfurt registers almost no change against the previous trading session, London is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.42%, and Paris lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.50%.
The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.25% lower; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is slightly down, trading just below the flatline at 36,871 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (-0.17%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is practically unchanged (-0.15%).
