Sell-offs in Piazza Affari. Rest of Europe unmoved
(Teleborsa) - Bulls and bears are in stalemate as the major bourses on the Old Continent trade on the flatline. Trending against them, the Borsa Italiana slides into the red.EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.107. Gold holds its position at 2,499.6 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is just below the flatline, with a negative variation of -0.12%.
The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +142 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.72%.
Among the European indices, stagnant Frankfurt trades to a near stalemate, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and Paris drifts -0.27% lower.
Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.21%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading just below the previous session's levels, at 36,486 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is in the red (-1.1%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star descends -1.33%.
Unicredit (+1.08%), Unipol (+0.99%), Tenaris (+0.95%) and Bper (+0.83%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
DiaSorin reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.22% down.
Troubled Leonardo falls -2.87%.
Moncler is down, with a net loss of 2.24%.
Amplifon is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.16%.
Piaggio (+0.74%), IVS Group (+0.56%) and Technoprobe (+0.54%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
Juventus reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -13.08% down.
