Sell-offs in Piazza Affari. Rest of Europe unmoved

News Image (Teleborsa) - Bulls and bears are in stalemate as the major bourses on the Old Continent trade on the flatline. Trending against them, the Borsa Italiana slides into the red.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.24% so far. Gold trades down -0.47% in a weak session. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +0.81%.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +150 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.94%.

Among the European markets, stagnant Frankfurt trades to a near stalemate, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and Paris is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.46%).

Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.29%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is slightly down, trading just below the flatline at 35,796 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap slips a fraction (-0.45%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star hovers just below the flatline (-0.54%).

Saipem (+3.40%), Bper (+1.42%) and Telecom Italia (+0.71%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Ferrari reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.51% down.

Interpump Group is modestly down, shedding -1.35%.

Unipol drifts -1.07% lower.

Italgas totters along with a modest -0.89% decline.

D'Amico (+8.81%), Fincantieri (+4.55%), Lottomatica (+1.89%) and Industrie De Nora (+1.57%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Danieli & C sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.60% lower.

Cementir suffers losses of 2.09%.

Investors hurry to sell as CIR declines -2.05%.

De'Longhi plunges -1.79% on intense selling.
