Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

EUR / USD is slightly down at 1.068. Gold has a bad day, ending the session -0.83% lower at 2,300.2 dollars per ounce. Oil prices are essentially stable, with Light Sweet Crude Oil trading sideways at 80.7 dollars per barrel.
The Spread rises a scant 2 basis points to reach +153 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10-year yield at +3.98%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, it's a stalemate for Frankfurt, which is trading around the flatline, London contracts moderately by -0.27%, and Paris is subdued, shedding -0.69%.
Piazza Affari closes on a cautious note, with the FTSE MIB registering a slight loss of -0.49%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share closes on a downbeat note, at 35,718 points, which is just shy of the previous session's levels.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap descends -0.87%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star ends negative (-0.88%).
Saipem (+2.37%) and Bper (+1.12%) among the top performers in Milan.
Tenaris has the worst performance, closing -2.22% down.
Troubled MPS Bank falls -2.18%.
Ferrari is down, with a net loss of 1.79%.
Interpump Group falls just below its previous value.
D'Amico (+8.21%), Fincantieri (+4.34%), MFE A (+2.05%) and Industrie De Nora (+2.01%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
De'Longhi has the worst performance, closing -5.30% down.
Danieli & C is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.88%.
Sanlorenzo trades negative, losing -2.6%.
Tinexta plunges -2.28%.
