Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative On the US market, the S&P-500 is in fairly positive terrain.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.5% so far. Gold trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.58% so far. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses -1.5%, changing hands at 71.28 dollars per barrel.

The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +128 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +3.67%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt trades negative, losing -0.79%, London plunges -0.82%, and Paris declines by a notable -1.06%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB slides -0.74% to 33,730 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.71% to trade at 35,881 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap hovers just below the flatline (-0.33%), as the FTSE Italia Star spirals down (-1.04%).

MPS Bank (+3.38%), Pirelli & C (+2.98%), Saipem (+2.37%) and Inwit (+1.88%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Unipol has the worst performance, with a -6.20% down.

Stellantis reels under sharp sell-offs as it declines -4.56%.

An ugly performance for Bper, which registers a -4.25% loss.

A black day for Iveco, which sheds -4.14%.

Juventus (+3.31%), Technoprobe (+2.35%), Ariston Holding (+1.62%) and ENAV (+1.19%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Tinexta has the worst performance, with a -9.32% down.

Carel Industries is in free fall, diving -5.79%.

D'Amico drops like a stone, recording a -4.32 percent decline.

Ferragamo is struggling, -3.05% down.
