Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative On the US trading floor the S&P-500 is in fine fettle, recording a +1.17% increase.

EUR / USD continues the session just below the flatline, slipping -0.26%. Gold trades up, advancing to 2,413.7 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 75.39 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is at +144 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.7%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt lacks momentum, trading with a -0.07% change, London totters along with a modest -0.5% decline, and a sluggish day for Paris, which drops -0.49%.

Piazza Affari is trading negative, with the FTSE MIB shedding -0.72%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share retreats -0.75% to trade at 33,689 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is in the red (-1.09%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star descends -1.03%.

Nexi (+1.17%) and Generali (+0.72%) among the top performers in Milan.

Finecobank reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.68% down.

ERG shows a negative session -2.46% down.

Troubled Ferrari falls -2.42%.

Moncler is down, with a net loss of 2.32%.

GVS (+3.95%), Cembre (+0.98%), CIR (+0.88%) and Comer Industries (+0.62%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Technoprobe reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -9.38% down.

Industrie De Nora dives -7.77%.

OVS collapses (-3.83%).

Sanlorenzo is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.73%.
