Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.049. Gold makes timid gains, progressing by +0.54%. Light Sweet Crude Oil slides -1.07% to 70.53 dollars per barrel.

The Spread between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields decreases, settling at +109 basis points, with the 10-year BTP yield at +3.38%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt contracts moderately by -0.37%, London is subdued, shedding -0.33%, and Paris trades negative, losing -0.82%.

Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.33%, bringing the three-day rally that began last Wednesday to an abrupt end; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.38% to trade at 36,979 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap descends -0.75%; on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.6%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Bper rises +1.86% on positive cues.

Unipol is in good fettle with a +1.6% increase.

Banco Bpm is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +1.3%.

ERG lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 1.10%.

Stellantis reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.12% down.

Iveco plunges -2.75%.

DiaSorin declines by a notable -2.05%.

Ferrari is struggling, -2.02% down.

Acea (+3.32%), CIR (+3.00%), Banco di Desio e della Brianza (+1.61%) and Banca Ifis (+1.61%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Juventus sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.98% lower.

Ariston Holding suffers losses of 3.24%.

Investors hurry to sell as Webuild declines -2.39%.

Buzzi plunges -2.23% on intense selling.
