Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative.

Caution prevails as EUR / USD continues the session slightly lower (-0.32%). Gold is in reverse gear, sliding to 2,597.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil trades with a fractional gain of 0.79%.

The Spread is significantly higher, adding a substantial 11 basis points to reach +126 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.57%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 0.93%, London trades negative, losing -0.95%, and Paris plunges -1.3%.

A dismal day for the Borsa Italiana as the FTSE MIB declines -0.93%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share retreats -0.9% to trade at 36,185 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap hovers just below the flatline (-0.54%), as the FTSE Italia Star is in the red (-1.08%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Stmicroelectronics stands out, progressing +2.06%.

A positive performance for Leonardo, which advances by a notable +1.94%.

Bper makes fairly pedestrian progress (+1.23%).

MPS Bank looks composed with modest growth of +0.74%.

Mediobanca has the worst performance, with a -8.44% down.

Brunello Cucinelli drops like a stone, recording a -3.84 percent decline.

Prysmian declines by a notable -3.61%.

Amplifon is struggling, -2.89% down.

Alerion Clean Power (+6.84%), Digital Value (+6.79%), Pharmanutra (+4.49%) and De'Longhi (+4.02%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Ferragamo sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.27% lower.

A dramatic session for Moltiply Group, which suffers a -4.16% collapse.

BFF Bank suffers losses of 2.84%.

Investors hurry to sell as Sanlorenzo declines -2.7%.
