Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative.

EUR / USD is slightly down at 1.104. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of -0.09%. Light Sweet Crude Oil is firmly in the red as it tumbles -2.54% to trade at 72.18 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is at +140 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.7%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt is subdued, shedding -0.36%, London falls just below its previous value, and Paris is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.23%).

In Milan, the FTSE MIB slides -0.76% to 34,060 points; similarly, a gloomy day for the FTSE Italia All-Share, which is trading at 36,227 points, down -0.76%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap declines -0.71%, as the FTSE Italia Star is slightly lower (-0.62%).

Brunello Cucinelli (+2.84%), Amplifon (+0.94%), DiaSorin (+0.74%) and Moncler (+0.66%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

MPS Bank sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.03% lower.

Banca Popolare Sondrio plunges -3.79%.

Saipem declines by a notable -3.78%.

Banco Bpm is struggling, -2.86% down.

Juventus (+1.16%), Carel Industries (+0.81%), Mondadori (+0.78%) and Technogym (+0.52%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Danieli & C sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -7.73% lower.

Comer Industries suffers losses of 3.72%.

Investors hurry to sell as Ferretti declines -3.33%.

Tinexta plunges -2.97% on intense selling.
