Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

News Image (Teleborsa) - Indices in Milan and the other major European bourses all trade negative.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.07. There is no significant change for gold which, at 2,356.5 dollars per ounce, is traded around previous levels. Light Sweet Crude Oil is largely stable at 81.18 dollars per barrel.

The Spread slips to +149 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield stands at +3.89%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt essentially treads water (-0.16%), London goes nowhere, reporting a -0.07% change, and Paris is basically unchanged, reporting a scant -0.05% variation.

The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.53% lower; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is slightly down, trading just below the flatline at 35,718 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.41%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.43%.

Saipem (+0.56%) and Nexi (+0.52%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Amplifon reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.09% down.

Investors are selling as Stmicroelectronics records a -1.87% fall.

Tottering Unicredit dips -1.42%.

MPS Bank is definitely weaker with a -1.1% decrease.

Ferretti (+1.69%), SAES Getters (+1.28%), Lottomatica (+0.82%) and Iren (+0.73%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Intercos has the worst performance, with a -6.74% down.

Fincantieri shows a negative session -2.19% down.

Troubled Buzzi falls -1.79%.

Credem is down, with a net loss of 1.60%.
