Piazza Affari shines

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Borsa Italiana is up amid a flurry of buy orders, just like the major European exchanges. On the US market trading is up for the S&P-500.

EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.51%. Gold is in positive terrain, earning +1.45%. Oil prices are essentially stable, with Light Sweet Crude Oil trading sideways at 83.04 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is sharply lower at +136 basis points (-8 BPs), while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.92%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is in good shape, advancing +1.16%, a positive result for London, which inches up +0.61%, and Paris stands out, progressing +1.24%.

Piazza Affari ends the session higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 33,845 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share rises to close at 36,057 points, up +1.11% over the previous session.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is up +1.39%, as the FTSE Italia Star climbs +1.1%.

MPS Bank (+5.71%), Leonardo (+3.80%), Bper (+3.59%) and Unipol (+3.19%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Saipem has the worst performance, closing -2.83% down.

Moncler trades with a small loss of -0.7%.

Tottering Recordati dips -0.53%.

De'Longhi (+5.18%), Zignago Vetro (+3.61%), GVS (+3.30%) and Juventus (+2.80%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Cembre has the worst performance, closing -1.65% down.

Philogen is definitely weaker with a -1.44% decrease.

Rai Way slips just under the flatline with a -1.41% decrease.

The Italian Sea Group contracts moderately by -0.86%.
