Piazza Affari sees buying frenzy, Europe bourses also up

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milanese bourse outshines the major European markets, which also gain.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.076. Gold advances with a fractional gain of +0.54%. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.65%.

The Spread declines to settle at +141 basis points, a reduction of 3 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +4%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt looks composed with modest growth of +0.63%, London performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.51% rise, and Paris's +0.83% surge cheers investors.

In a strong day for the Milan bourse the FTSE MIB gains +1.05%; similarly, steady gains for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it reaches 36,023 points.

FTSE Italia Mid Cap puts in a good performance (+0.74%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.6%).

MPS Bank (+2.94%), Stmicroelectronics (+2.24%), Ferrari (+2.18%) and Bper (+2.18%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

De'Longhi (+2.06%), Ariston Holding (+1.98%), Iren (+1.83%) and Banca Ifis (+1.68%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Fincantieri has the worst performance, with a -1.46% down.

Pharmanutra falls just below its previous value.
