Piazza Affari rules supreme

News Image (Teleborsa) - Milan claims pole position among Europe's stock markets, which, in turn, are seeing broad selling today.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.051, is traded around previous levels. Gold trades slightly up at 2,658.3 dollars per ounce. Oil prices see no significant change, with the Light Sweet Crude Oil settling at 70.99 dollars per barrel, near the previous session's level.

The Spread touches +119 basis points, a 5 BPs increase over its previous level, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.39%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt slips just under the flatline with a -0.27% decrease, London reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, and Paris contracts moderately by -0.38%.

The Milanese stock exchange enjoys timid gains as the FTSE MIB exhibits +0.3% up, continuing its run after four consecutive rises, which began last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share pushes up to trade at 37,214 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.49%), as the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.44%.

Bper (+1.80%), Intesa Sanpaolo (+1.39%), Leonardo (+1.36%) and Banco Bpm (+1.35%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Amplifon sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.98% lower.

DiaSorin plunges -1.95%.

Stellantis declines by a notable -1.69%.

Inwit is subdued, shedding -1.36%.

Digital Value (+6.20%), Banca Ifis (+1.61%), Cementir (+1.08%) and Comer Industries (+0.95%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Juventus reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.43% down.

Webuild is struggling, -1.91% down.

Philogen suffers losses of 1.88%.

Investors hurry to sell as Sanlorenzo declines -1.73%.
