Piazza Affari in good shape, but Europe cautious
(Teleborsa) - Market reports highlight the wary mood permeating the Old Continent, with the exception of the Milan exchange, which closes on a fairly positive note. On the US market, the S&P-500 slips into negative territory, recording a -0.27% decline.
EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.051. Gold loses a lot of ground, retracing by -1.25% to trade at 2,684.2 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses -0.96%, changing hands at 69.61 dollars per barrel.
The Spread improves, shedding -5 basis points to settle at +107 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.31%.
Among the European indices, stagnant Frankfurt trades to a near stalemate, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and it's a stalemate for Paris, which is trading around the flatline.
Piazza Affari closes slightly up as the FTSE MIB posts a fractional gain of +0.36%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bolts up to 37,088 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap slips below the flatline with a drop of -0.31%, as the FTSE Italia Star is slightly down (-0.28%).
Brunello Cucinelli (+8.04%), Bper (+4.90%), Unipol (+1.80%) and MPS Bank (+1.76%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
Prysmian has the worst performance, closing -2.52% down.
Snam is definitely weaker with a -1.17% decrease.
DiaSorin slips just under the flatline with a -1.12% decrease.
Iveco contracts moderately by -1.08%.
OVS (+8.18%), Credem (+2.45%), Banca Ifis (+2.23%) and Moltiply Group (+2.06%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
Digital Value reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -16.92% down.
Alerion Clean Power plunges -2.82% on intense selling.
