Piazza Affari in good shape, but Europe cautious

News Image (Teleborsa) - Market reports highlight the wary mood permeating the Old Continent, with the exception of the Milan exchange, which closes on a fairly positive note. A positive result for the US bourse, where the S&P-500 boasts a +0.2% rise.

EUR / USD trades down -0.51% in a weak session. Gold trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.47% so far. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly up, rising to 68.15 dollars per barrel.

The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +126 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +3.63%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is basically unchanged, reporting a scant -0.16% variation, London trades firm at +0.06%, and Paris trades largely sideways.

Piazza Affari is slightly up, with the FTSE MIB finishing at 33,708 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bolts up to 35,837 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap closes sideways (+0.09%); the FTSE Italia Star slips below the flatline with a drop of -0.31%.

Prysmian (+2.57%), Bper (+1.98%), MPS Bank (+1.85%) and Recordati (+1.67%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Stmicroelectronics reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -4.38% down.

Investors are selling as Pirelli & C records a -3.14% fall.

DiaSorin shows a negative session -1.7% down.

Troubled Hera falls -1.7%.

De'Longhi (+6.26%), Maire (+2.36%), Technogym (+1.63%) and D'Amico (+1.61%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Ariston Holding sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -5.12% lower.

Technoprobe is down, with a net loss of 3.77%.

Cembre is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 3.65%.

Ferretti trades negative, losing -3.23%.
