Piazza Affari in good shape, but Europe cautious
(Teleborsa) - Market reports highlight the wary mood permeating the Old Continent, with the exception of the Milan exchange, which is trading slightly higher.
EUR / USD trades down -0.24% in a weak session. There is no significant change for gold which, at 2,696.6 dollars per ounce, is traded around previous levels. Light Sweet Crude Oil looks bullish as it advances to 69.48 dollars per barrel.
The Spread charges ahead, rising as much as 12 basis points to trade at +119 BPs, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield is at +3.21%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt lacks momentum, trading with a +0.06% change, London is essentially flat, offering a scant +0.14%, and Paris essentially treads water (+0.2%).
In Milan, the FTSE MIB registers a fractional gain of +0.43%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up to 36,901 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap gains marginally (+0.26%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star trades moderately higher (+0.37%).
Saipem (+2.94%), Telecom Italia (+2.02%), Leonardo (+1.89%) and Generali (+1.53%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
Digital Value (+5.56%), Comer Industries (+2.98%), Rai Way (+2.51%) and Maire (+2.27%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.
SOL reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.58% down.
Pharmanutra slips just under the flatline with a -1.1% decrease.
GVS contracts moderately by -0.93%.
Cementir is subdued, shedding -0.9%.
