Piazza Affari heads the pack in Europe

News Image (Teleborsa) - Stock markets are cautious on the Old Continent, trading in both directions. In this climate, Milan holds firm and wins the laurels.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.16%. Gold trades up, advancing to 2,516.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.45%.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +139 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.59%.

Among the European indices, stagnant Frankfurt trades to a near stalemate, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and Paris falls just below its previous value.

Milan is trading slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 33,753 points, while, instead, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 35,888 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (-0.15%); the FTSE Italia Star hovers just below the flatline (-0.36%).

Enel (+1.53%), MPS Bank (+1.43%), ERG (+1.33%) and Finecobank (+1.23%) among the top performers in Milan.

Brunello Cucinelli sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.25% lower.

Moncler declines by a notable -2.84%.

Ferrari is struggling, -2.37% down.

Tenaris suffers losses of 1.81%.

Ferretti (+2.91%), Anima Holding (+1.97%), Acea (+1.79%) and Pharmanutra (+1.72%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

The Italian Sea Group sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -7.82% lower.

Sanlorenzo is in free fall, diving -5.35%.

Investors hurry to sell as Technoprobe declines -2.11%.

Technogym plunges -1.92% on intense selling.
