EUR / USD trades slightly up at 1.094. Gold is on the plus side, showing a +0.93% increase. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 61.07 dollars per barrel.
The Spread declines to settle at +116 basis points, a reduction of 6 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.8%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt takes off (+3.02%), London boasts a +3.5% increase as investors scramble to get their hands on shares, and an ebullient Paris is up +3.45%.
At the Borsa Italiana in Milan, the FTSE MIB closes firmly higher (+3.55%), reaching 34,020 points, bouncing back after four consecutive downs since last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share has a splendid session, advancing to 36,117 points.
FTSE Italia Mid Cap puts in an excellent performance (+3.71%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star improves sharply (+3.49%).
Leonardo (+9.07%), Unipol (+8.54%), Banca Mediolanum (+6.94%) and Finecobank (+6.42%) among the top performers in Milan.
Fincantieri (+8.10%), Cementir (+8.07%), De'Longhi (+6.96%) and Alerion Clean Power (+6.77%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
Garofalo Health Care has the worst performance, with a -0.97% down.
The Italian Sea Group is definitely weaker with a -0.53% decrease.
