Old Continent markets are all positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - There was a rush of buy orders on European stock markets, with Piazza Affari closing on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses. On the US exchange the S&P-500 moves just above neutral (+0.62%).

Caution prevails as EUR / USD continues the session slightly lower (-0.26%). Caution prevails as gold continues the session slightly lower (-0.29%). Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by -0.57% to trade at 73.15 dollars per barrel.

The Spread remains unchanged at +130 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.55%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is firmly in the black, progressing +0.99%, London is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.65%, and Paris lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.52%.

The Milanese stock exchange closes slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB rising +0.59% to 33,933 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share climbs a notch to 36,081 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.52%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star closes just above the flatline (+0.45%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Stellantis performs well, growing +1.94%.

Stmicroelectronics secures a tidy +1.68% gain.

Pirelli & C rises +1.67% on positive cues.

Prysmian makes fairly pedestrian progress (+1.26%).

DiaSorin sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -1.15% lower.

Amplifon slips just under the flatline with a -1.13% decrease.

Digital Value (+3.65%), Reply (+3.12%), Fincantieri (+2.85%) and SOL (+2.54%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

D'Amico has the worst performance, closing -1.80% down.

Investors hurry to sell as Marr declines -1.68%.

Alerion Clean Power plunges -1.61% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Maire records a -1.59% fall.
