Moderate gains in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is trading slightly higher, on a par with the major European bourses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.01%. Gold trades slightly up at 2,638.5 dollars per ounce. A gloomy day for Light Sweet Crude Oil, which is trading at 67.64 dollars per barrel, down -0.97%.

The Spread is at +114 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.19%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt goes nowhere, reporting a +0.16% change, London is basically unchanged, reporting a scant -0.12% variation, and Paris is in positive territory with a +1.33% increase.

The Milanese bourse edges up as the FTSE MIB rises +0.6% to 34,834 points, continuing its bullish run which began on November 28, Thursday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share notches up to 37,039 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.16%); the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.37%).

Moncler (+5.38%), Stellantis (+3.20%), Brunello Cucinelli (+2.24%) and Campari (+2.16%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Tenaris reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.42% down.

DiaSorin is subdued, shedding -1.29%.

Bper falls just below its previous value.

Unipol is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.75%).

Digital Value (+6.81%), Safilo (+3.08%), Ferragamo (+2.78%) and Danieli & C (+2.63%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Mondadori reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.14% down.

El.En is modestly down, shedding -1.05%.

Cementir drifts -0.88% lower.

Reply totters along with a modest -0.84% decline.
