Milan treads water
(Teleborsa) - The Italian stock market remains unchanged , while Europe's major bourses slide. On the New York Stock Exchange, the S&P-500 hovers around the flatline.
EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.09. Gold advances with a fractional gain of +0.3%. Crude oil rises in an upbeat session, with Light Sweet Crude Oil gaining as much as +2.83%.
The Spread is substantially lower, falling -12 basis points to +112 BPs, with the Italian 10-year BTP yield at +3.52%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt trades with a small loss of -0.37%, a positive result for London, which inches up +0.41%, and tottering Paris dips -0.32%.
In Milan, the FTSE MIB is largely stable, trading at 34,639 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, trading at 36,713 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.62%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star descends -1.12%.
