Milan treads water

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Italian stock market remains unchanged , while Europe's major bourses slide.

EUR / USD trades down -0.19% in a weak session. Gold trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.27% so far. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 74.17 dollars per barrel.

The Spread remains unchanged at +131 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.54%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, London looks composed with modest growth of +0.51%, and stagnant Paris trades to a near stalemate.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB is largely stable, trading at 33,713 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading flat at 35,853 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades sideways (+0.11%); the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.22%).

Telecom Italia (+1.43%), A2A (+1.13%), Recordati (+0.96%) and Hera (+0.86%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Bper sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.55% lower.

Iveco plunges -1.51% on intense selling.

Unipol slips just under the flatline with a -0.92% decrease.

Unicredit contracts moderately by -0.91%.

Reply (+2.05%), Acea (+1.43%), Rai Way (+1.13%) and Italmobiliare (+1.06%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Maire sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.66% lower.

Investors are selling as Safilo records a -2.79% fall.

Ferretti shows a negative session -1.79% down.

Troubled Moltiply Group falls -1.52%.
