Milan takes a dip but Europe plunges

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is trading on a weak note, while the other European markets record heavy losses.

EUR / USD records a decline of -0.74%. Gold advances with a fractional gain of +0.21%. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 75.67 dollars per barrel.

The Spread rises to settle at +137 basis points, an increase of 6 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +4%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt trades with a small loss of -0.66%, tottering London dips -0.31%, and Paris nosedives by -1.79%.

The Milan stock exchange is trading lower, with the FTSE MIB recording a decline of -0.84%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.8% to trade at 36,589 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap slips a fraction (-0.51%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star hovers just below the flatline (-0.66%).

Hera (+1.12%) and Leonardo (+1.08%) among the top performers in Milan.

Brunello Cucinelli sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.23% lower.

Investors hurry to sell as Saipem declines -1.98%.

Stmicroelectronics plunges -1.96% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Banco Bpm records a -1.84% fall.

SAES Getters (+1.65%), The Italian Sea Group (+1.58%), Technogym (+1.54%) and Mondadori (+1.32%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

MutuiOnline reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.59% down.

Technoprobe shows a negative session -2.53% down.

Troubled ENAV falls -1.78%.

Piaggio is down, with a net loss of 1.76%.
