Milan takes a dip but Europe plunges

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is trading on a weak note, while the other European markets record heavy losses.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.098, is traded around previous levels. Gold is slightly down at 2,635.2 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a strong decline (-1.67%) as it touches 75.85 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +132 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.57%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt plunges -0.85%, London declines by a notable -1.03%, and Paris is struggling, -1.05% down.

Caution prevails in Milan as the FTSE MIB registers a marginal drop of -0.64%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in retreat at 35,733 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.69%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.45%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, DiaSorin forges ahead by +2%.

Italgas is in positive territory with a +1.66% increase.

Moncler has the worst performance, with a -2.91% down.

Brunello Cucinelli suffers losses of 2.35%.

Investors hurry to sell as Campari declines -1.71%.

Recordati plunges -1.7% on intense selling.

Philogen (+1.27%), Digital Value (+0.73%) and Cementir (+0.63%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Technoprobe has the worst performance, with a -3.83% down.

Investors are selling as Ferragamo records a -3.73% fall.

Ferretti shows a negative session -2.69% down.

Troubled De'Longhi falls -2.27%.
