Milan takes a dip but Europe plunges

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is trading on a weak note, while the other European markets record heavy losses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only -0.06%. Gold creeps up +0.28%. Light Sweet Crude Oil continues to trade sideways, registering a -0.19% change.

The Spread jumps to +137 basis points, an increase of 3 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.77%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is down, with a net loss of 0.71%, London totters along with a modest -0.39% decline, and Paris is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.38%.

Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.63%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.59% to trade at 36,665 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades sideways (-0.07%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star lacks direction (-0.14%).

Italgas (+1.11%) and Prysmian (+0.79%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Iveco has the worst performance, with a -7.22% down.

Moncler trades negative, losing -2.68%.

Brunello Cucinelli plunges -2.23%.

Ferrari declines by a notable -2.02%.

Alerion Clean Power (+2.17%), Industrie De Nora (+2.16%), MFE A (+1.27%) and Brembo (+1.11%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Ferragamo has the worst performance, with a -2.13% down.

A sluggish day for De'Longhi, which drops -1.12%.

Philogen trades with a small loss of -0.95%.

Tottering Technogym dips -0.79%.
