Milan saps momentum from European bourses, which trade flat
(Teleborsa) - The Borsa Italiana is in the red, stalling the other European markets, which are trading on a subdued note. The Milan stock exchange is suffering the impact of the ex-dividend date, whitch weighs 1.22 on the FTSE MIB index.
There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.056, is traded around previous levels. Gold trades up, advancing to 2,587.7 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly up, rising to 67.36 dollars per barrel.
The Spread between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields decreases, settling at +118 basis points, with the 10-year BTP yield at +3.56%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.33%, London makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.26%), and Paris is essentially flat, offering a scant +0.19%.
Piazza Affari is trading negative, with the FTSE MIB shedding -1.02%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in reverse gear as it slides to 36,007 points.
