Milan posts moderate gains
(Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is slightly up, on a par with the major European bourses. Wall Street sees the S&P-500 move up a notch, registering an increase of 0.20%.
EUR / USD continues the session just below the flatline, slipping -0.71%. Gold trades slightly up at 2,664.5 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises +1.41% to 69.72 dollars per barrel.
The Spread retraces its steps, dipping -1.63% to +121 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield is at +3.56%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt is in positive territory with a +0.74% increase, London attracts bids with a +0.79% rise, and Paris records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.21%.
The Milanese stock exchange closes slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB rising +0.2% to 33,295 points, while, instead, the FTSE Italia All-Share trades flat, closing at 35,436 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap closes sideways (-0.16%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star lacks direction (-0.15%).
Leonardo (+1.95%), Saipem (+1.89%), Unipol (+1.65%) and A2A (+1.55%) among the top performers in Milan.
Nexi sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -3.25% lower.
Telecom Italia is struggling, -1.67% down.
