Milan, Europe shine bright

News Image (Teleborsa) - Milan's strong rally is on a par with the breathtaking gains seen at the other European bourses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.13%. Gold trades up, advancing to 2,347.2 dollars per ounce. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of +0.04%.

The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +142 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +4.02%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt is in good fettle with a +0.93% increase, a positive result for London, which inches up +0.58%, and Paris rockets +1.55%.

The Milanese stock exchange looks bullish, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 33,921 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share delivers positive performance, trading +1.32% up over the previous close.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is on a joyride (+1.53%); on the same trend direction, FTSE Italia Star puts in a good performance (+1.16%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, all eyes are on MPS Bank, which rockets +5.73%.

Bper soars, recording a substantial +5.03% rise.

Ferrari is in good shape, advancing +2.86%.

Banco Bpm stands out, progressing +2.77%.

Saipem sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.62% lower.

Tottering ENI dips -0.63%.

De'Longhi (+5.85%), Lottomatica (+3.06%), GVS (+2.98%) and Sanlorenzo (+2.89%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Fincantieri reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.16% down.

CIR is definitely weaker with a -1.03% decrease.

Ascopiave slips just under the flatline with a -0.85% decrease.

Cementir contracts moderately by -0.73%.
